Lauren and Ralph, San Luis Obispo, CA

Lauren, Ralph, and I lucked into an amazingly beautiful day in See Canyon and Edna Valley (San Luis Obispo) for their engagement photos. The apple trees are just starting to bloom, the grass is green, and the central coast is really an amazing place right now.

Lauren and Ralph were very easy in front of the camera - visibly in love. A great couple to spend an afternoon with. :)

The Kienows, Avila Beach, CA

We went for a little family walk at Avila beach this afternoon. It was really warm, and the clouds were super cool, and the surf was really small and was making little pools on the beach that were calm enough for Cameron to check out. This may have been his first experience with sand, I'm not sure. In any case, he likes how it tastes.

India and Jeremy, San Luis Obispo CA

India and Jeremy met me for their engagement photos on the windiest day ever in San Luis Obispo. We found plenty of wind-free spots though, and had lots of fun! True story...India and Jeremy first met when they were in a bridal party and were paired up to walk down the aisle together.

Michelle and Caleb's Engagement, Fresno CA

Michelle and Caleb's engagement session went down in the Fresno/Clovis area last weekend. It was supposed to be raining but didn't, woohoo! They're a super cool couple and we had a great time. :)

New Forbeyon Sample Album

I've got a new sample album in! I've been excited about this one, because I visited Forbeyon's factory in Texas last summer to see their whole operation, and was very impressed. Every one of their albums is custom made by hand, and it was really fun to tour the factory and see how they're made.

Many thanks to the Forbeyon crew (www.forbeyon.com) for running such a great operation! This one's a 12x12 46-page, with a leather cover and accent material. It's also got a metal cameo on the front, which looks pretty awesome.

If you're meeting with me soon, you'll see it in person - it's one thing to see these photos, but another thing entirely to hold it in your hands. :)

On a side note, I HIGHLY recommend getting an album with your wedding package. My wife and I have ours out on our coffee table, and without it all that we'd probably ever see of our wedding photos are a few portraits of us hanging around the house. With an album, we keep our entire wedding story (from getting ready to leaving the reception) in one accessible, durable, attractive place. People thumb through it all the time. These things are built to last - ours looks the same as the day we got it. Let me know if you've got any album questions, I'd be happy to answer them! :)
